CBI Research, Inc Rewards Employees with Four Day, All-Inclusive Trip
As a reward for meeting their "Stretch Goal" in 2007, CBI Research, Inc.'s (CBI) full-time employees have been rewarded with a company-wide trip to Aruba. Each year the employees of CBI strive to exceed the financial goals that are set for them. By achieving these goals, they are rewarded with a four day all inclusive trip for themselves and a guest. The trip to Aruba marks the seventh year that CBI employees have been awarded with this unique and exceptional incentive. Previous destinations have included Bermuda, Jamaica, Puerto Rico (twice), Cancun and Punta Cana .
The idea for the trip incentive was generated during an employee review and has since become an integral part of CBI's culture, which fosters true team spirit. The trip encompasses relationship-building with co-workers in a non-structured, relaxed atmosphere. Culminating the trip, CBI’s President, Kathy Coffey, offered an island dinner, set on the white Arubian sand, amidst glowing tiki torches and soothing island music. The trip is a truly remarkable incentive for employees to work hard all year long and rewards them with an exciting adventure.
Employees and their guests enjoyed a three night stay at the Occidental Grand Aruba. The resort has six restaurants and five bars, a variety of water sports including snorkeling and kayaking, an on-site casino and nightly entertainment. The hotel gave employees unlimited options for both days and evenings.
