September 11, 2006
Exploria Inc. is pleased to announce sponsorship of the 3rd Annual Forum on Defining Appropriate and Effective Interactions with Thought Leaders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), held in McLean, Virginia November 13-14. The Forum sets a stage for clinical/medical affairs, medical science liaisons and marketing/ academia institutions to interact and discuss strategies to maximize collaboration with KOLs throughout the product lifecycle.
Leo Herbette, MD, PhD, CEO of Exploria, will present a case study on Exploria's Direct to Desktop platform including an explanation of paradigm shifting KOL behavior, product benefits, ways to accommodate regulatory and compliance issues regarding content, KOL issues encountered with this new approach and, most importantly, ways to improve KOL management. This case study will illustrate how Exploria’s Direct to Desktop Community Network Platform was adopted by one of the industries top pharmaceutical companies and the results of implementing an internal/external centralized KOL management, training and content management platform across several branded products. The session will cover platform features such as electronic contract signing, KOL self-paced training, auto-updateable content management, secure content distribution and automated "rules and permissions" of content usage that all run in a 'wizard' like fashion for ease of KOL and pharmaceutical use.
The goal of this session is to empower participants with ideas on how to improve KOL management and increase ROI by implementing a platform technology that centralizes KOL management and help build stronger KOL relationships.
