Woburn, MA - The Center for Business Intelligence announces the 6th Annual Forum on Phase IV Clinical Trials

The Center for Business Intelligence (CBI) will hold the 6th Annual Forum on Phase IV Clinical Trials on September 19-20, 2005 at Park Hyatt in Philadelphia, PA.\

This is the must-attend event for pharmaceutical companies who are conducting Phase IV studies. Outcome, a sponsor at this year's event, conducted a survey of the Phase IV 2004 participants and the study revealed that over 50% of post-marketing studies are done internationally and 39% agreed that the biggest problem with their study is achieving patient enrollment goals. This event provides the only opportunity for clinical, medical and marketing departments, as well as those charged with conducting both national and international Phase IV clinical trials, to attend one event that addresses all of their Phase IV challenges including: Global Phase IV studies, site enrollment, current requirements for Phase IV studies, full disclosure trial registries and much more!

Industry speakers from AstraZenca, Berlex Inc., Cephalon Inc., Elan Biopharmaceuticals, Eli Lilly and Company, Hoffman-La Roche Ltd., Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Organon International, Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals, Schering-Plough and other executives will provide industry perspectives and case studies at the conference.

Plus! Do not miss the opportunity to hear Richard Gliklich, President, Outcome speak on the topic of:

Leveraging Phase IV Studies to Meet Safety, Scientific and Regulatory Goals
Individual Phase IV studies may be targeted to address one or more specific safety, scientific, regulatory or value questions in the market which represent barriers to product adoption or provide an opportunity for product differentiation or competitive advantage. However, because Phase IV studies involve real-world perscribers and patients, key decisions ranging from the study type to site selection to technologies can have significant impact on the commercial as well as scientific goals of the study. Through case examples, this presentation discusses strategies for leveraging Phase IV studies to meet the safety, scientific and regulatory goals.

  • Consider the important intangibles
  • Tailor design and technologies to create a solution
  • Leverage your Phase IV study to meet additional goals
  • Measure the solution against your goals
