Is there a cost to register for members of the press?
No, press passes are complimentary and are only available to approved, working journalists who intend to report on the event.

Can I register on site, at the event?
Last-minute press pass requests will be handled on site at the event, upon presentation of a valid press photo ID. However, you are strongly advised to request in-advance of the event to simplify the process. (see below for credentials that must be presented on site)

Where do I book my hotel and other travel arrangements?
Travel discounts are available for CBI events. Please visit www.cbinet.com, locate the conference you are interested in and click on the Hotel & Travel Page for that event.

What credentials are required to register as a member of the press?
Press credentials consist of a business card with your name, media outlet and title as well as one of the following:

1. A copy of publication masthead or byline including your name
2. A link to your online publication with your name and title appearing in an editorial capacity
3. A copy of a bylined article published within the past six months.

I have attended CBI events in the past, do I need to re-submit my credentials?
The only time that you will need to re-submit your credentials is if you have left your position for another. However, there is not a "blanket" press pass for all CBI events. You must request a press pass for each individual event you wish to cover/attend.

Can I record presentations at the event?
No, CBI prohibits all audio and video recording during conference sessions. You will be required to sign a form on site that you understand this no-recording policy.

Who do I contact to register as a member of the press?
Please email marketing@cbinet.com to submit a registration request for an upcoming event. In your email, please include the following:

1. The name of the conference you are registering for
2. Your complete contact information
3. Your credentials (as described above)
