We have a current opening for a Marketing Manager to promote between 20-30 conferences a year to executive level audiences. You will possess excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of direct marketing and online strategies, the ability to effectively evaluate a database marketing plan and operate successfully within cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or a related field. At least two years of experience in marketing is preferred, preferably promoting business to business conferences. You must have strong communication skills, be detail focused, organized, have strong negotiation skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. Solid e-mail and database marketing skills are a must; knowledge of the Bio/Pharmaceutical industry is helpful as is the use of social media as a component of promotional campaigns.
We are seeking a driven sales executive to sell sponsorship and exhibit opportunities to companies who provide products or services to the Life Science Market. You will be responsible for creating a new business account base as well as developing and managing existing accounts.
The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree and 2 – 5 years of business to business sales experience. You must have a proven track record of qualifying and closing sales through effective phone skills aimed at selling directly to senior level executives. You must have experience with cold calling. Familiarity and/or interest in the bio/pharmaceutical industry is a huge plus.
We are seeking an Events Coordinator to manage approximately 25-30 conferences annually. You will coordinate all program logistics including food and beverage, AV, meeting room setups, travel arrangements for speakers and staff, and you will provide on-site support to ensure each conference is a success. You will manage the budgets for all aspects of conference expenses. You will work with high level conference speakers prior to the conference to gather and organize materials.
The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree in business administration, marketing or a related field. One year of meeting or event planning experience is strongly preferred. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills, including a strong customer service orientation. You must be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. You must be available to travel to each assigned conference. Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite is required.
We have an opportunity for a Program Manager to create and manage a minimum of 10 conferences per year. You will identify research and develop market driven, unbiased conferences unique to the Life Science industry.
You will work closely with and recruit executive–level speakers, develop timely/relevant content, and spearhead ongoing marketing/social media initiatives. You will oversee several supporting functions in conference execution, including sponsorship, sales, marketing, customer service and event management on a project basis.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Management, Communications or a related field. At least 2-5 years of progressive business experience is strongly preferred. You must have strong project management skills, experience with market research, the ability to write clearly and concisely and strong verbal communication skills. You must have the ability to work effectively under tight production timeframes and on multiple projects. Some travel to attend conferences will be required.
