A Look Back At Pharma Forum 2016
Thank you to all who participated in Pharma Forum this year! Powered by CBI and MeetingsNet, the 12th Annual Pharma Forum in New York City saw record-breaking attendance and the highest participation of corporate planners to date. Guided by a distinguished Advisory Board of highly experienced meetings professionals and propelled by an all-new Innovation Committee, the brightest minds in the meetings industry convened for heightened information sharing and networking.
The excitement of NYC played into the energy and buzz onsite and was fueled even further by the creative general session seating and innovative stage setup. Further innovation was reflected in the session content, with a dynamic opening keynote on the state of the meetings industry, the impact of personality styles on communication, an enhanced planner-hotelier point/counterpoint panel highlighting benchmarking meal cap survey results, an energetic address directly from EFPIA and an all-new Physician Exchange Panel, sharing first-hand insight from practitioners.
Another first was an empowerment and career-development track, topped by a general session cross-industry panel of high-powered women who provided some hard-earned tips for working into leadership positions.
Participants also gave back to the community by stopping by the CSR activity area in the expo hall, where they could create animal ornaments and puppets used to decorate children’s IV poles and IV bags. Nearby was a Social Wall, which lit up with the latest tweets, posts, and pictures fresh from the conference’s attendees.
